Will-O-Wisp Metropolitan District Board Meeting Minutes August 10, 2022
Call to Order
The Board meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Board President, Eric Peterson
Roll Call of Board Members
Board members in attendance at the Board meeting included: Eric Peterson Marty Prater Ron Wolff Sabine Preisinger Kat Knudsen

Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes
The board approved the minutes for the July, 2022 meeting, upon motion of Director Peterson and seconded by Director Preisinger, motion passed 5-0
Plant/System
The members of the board discuss with Will Raatz about the TIN project updates and timeline and the alternative use of dried molasses for reaching the new state standards.
Legal
The members of the board discuss the trailer parking issue in the district. The district attorney informed the board that if the district had to go to court, enforcing the covenants would cost the district money. The money can be better spent on other projects at this time. The trailer issue is being tabled. Nothing will be done this year and probably for the foreseeable future. The board will asked the district attorney to put a lien on the property 81 Silver Springs Rd. The homeowner is delinquent in their water bill since January 2022.
Finance/Administration
The Board approved the bills presented for payment for August 10, 2022, upon motion of Director Peterson and seconded by Director Preisinger, motion passed 5-0
Architectural Control Committee
Non-compliance notice hearing 121 Sunlight Ln. 121 SL hearing was held as announced in the attorney letter dated June 17, 2022. None of the residents of 121 SL attended. The board upheld its decision that the chickens will have to be removed and declined approval of the ACC application concerning the chicken coop and keeping chickens on property. The board also declined approval of the garden, because the WOW Water Decree does not allow any outside water use, including irrigation. Watering a garden is considered irrigation.
New Business
The board approved spending up to $ 300.00 for the district picnic on August 27, upon motion of Director Peterson and seconded by Director Wolff, motion passed 5-0
